Vintage AW Gamage 4.5" Wood And Brass Centre Pin Fishing Reel With Line. I believe it was used for Fly Fishing.

In fair used condition, with scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use, it comprises:

• A hardwood reel
• Two small black bakelite handles
• Steel screws (rusty)
• Brass line guide
• Centre Pin
• Fishing Line
• Engraved AW Gamage Ltd, Holborn, EC7.  Gamages was a department store in London, 1878-1972, well known for hardware, toys and sporting goods.

I haven't been tempted to polish the wood or brass as some customers prefer to see the patina.
